Well, let's not forget Newcastle have a habit of fielding weakened teams in cups too.

And have more injuries than anyone in the league. So we may be able to weaken our side quite a bit and still win, depending on Pardew's approach.
 
This is a perfect opportunity to recover from Saturday. Win this, then beat Utd on Sunday, things all look rosy again.
My team would be: Caballero, Sagna, Mangala, Demichelis, Kolarov, Fernandinho, Fernando, Milner, Navas, Dzeko, Jovetic.

And are in the shit still despite the win at Spurs
 
I'd like to see a strong team personally rather than the kids as this feels like a winnable competition again

I imagine it will be quite a strong team, not sure if Nasri or Lampard could feature. I would go with this which should be plenty good enough. A few kids on the bench as well for the experience.
