That's the best we have played in a long time. It is just a pity that we didn't play like this during most of the season. If we did I am sure that we would have been at least 4 or more points ahead of the rags.

Just have to keep on winning every game until the end of the season. That includes both cup ties. So with the F.A. Cup and the Charity Shield in the cupboard it won't have been a bad season after all.

It's a problem all goal keepers in top teams have to face, how to keep teh concentration levels up, especially when there not much aimed at them, they are only human after all.

But it was a very good team performance in my opinion, to be fair most balanced City fans expected us to win, I got a bit of a sinking feeling before the first goal (which to my shame I missed) but after that it was plain sailing, even when they had their five or ten minuets of glory in at the start of the 2nd half

You lot payed some good football today.
What I dont understand is why cant you play to even half that level on a more consistent basis? I mean even as a United fan I will admit that when you play you can play some great stuff but this season you have been playing like a bunch of amateurs at times. It must be frustrating.
I imagine you will be expecting a lot more from next season.

Your players at times look as if they all need is a good kick up the arse.
I think one of the main problems this season for you lot is keepers the players motivated and keeping their hunger levels up.
That is what makes a team truly great.
Look at Utd after we won the treble, 99/00 wasnt our greatest season by any means , I know we won the league but the players didnt seem to care as much as they once did, but Fergie gave them reminders that if they don't get into gear then they will be out and we have had continued succes since.
I don't know if Mancini is the man to do this though.
