half of them will be playing for sure, the old so and so is out is a ridiculous tactic these days but some managers still do it

Half of them are serious injuries (Ben Arfa is out for the season) and some were picked up lately like when one of them nearly got his knee kicked off against Wigan. The only one who has even a 1% chance is Debuchy apparently.

ok, forgot the kid who was hurt at wigan, that was a tackle and a half. The wigan lad is going to get stick wherever he goes,it would have been better for him to get a ban and be out of the limelight for 3 games.Glad to hear the inj isnt as bad as expected.Anyway i digress,it should be a comfortable win

A good draw then

Hart

Zabba Kompany Nasty Clichy

Yaya Barry

Silva Tevez Nasri

Aguero/Dzeko

never rated this partnership in CDM.

yaya's too laboured going back and barry's slow so needs someone who will offer more like milner or rodwell.

i'd go for milner and garcia tbh.

It won us the league.

we were much more effective in the second half when de jong came on and we pushed yaya forward.

plus barry's got slower since last year.

We always struggle again'st understrenght teams

-- Thu Mar 28, 2013 4:18 pm --

Who's the ref on saturday

A new reason to beat Newcastle, they have a Baconface sycophant baying for a move to the Swamp among them!

(Although truth be told I can't disagree with much of what he says.)

Cabaye believes champions City have effectively surrendered their title because they do not think or play as a team but rely on individual brilliance to get results.

Newcastle visit the Etihad tomorrow afternoon and Cabaye’s words will irk City chief Roberto Mancini.

The France ace meant no disrespect to the champions and was full of praise for their star-studded squad.

But he did not shy away from giving an honest answer as he lavished praise on Old Trafford boss Alex Ferguson.

Cabaye said: “United are a machine. Sir Alex is doing a fantastic job for the club.

“Even when the players change, he knows which player is going to be good for his team.

“City have fantastic players but, unfortunately for them, they don’t think and play as a team — it’s not the same as United. So maybe that’s the difference.

“City are still a fantastic team. But they are a team of individuals.”

Nothing wrong with Cabaye's words,especially.........

''Even when the players change, he knows which player is going to be good for his team''

There lies the difference between us and the Rags. They are a more fluid, functional unit.
Bacon knows his system and targets players that adhere to the formula that has brought him repeated success.

I don't have a fundamental problem with Cabaye's comments. I think he has probably identified much of the frustration felt by many of the fans. We do appear at times to be disjointed and lacking cohesion. Sometimes it is painful to hear the truth.

Nevertheless it's nice to have a little bit of extra motivation for the game! Thanks Yohan!
