I agree
I guess pellers doesn't want to put eds nose out of joint
I absaloutly agree with everything sed here.MichaelBBack said:Damien10 said:I don't have time for Dzeko like he doesn't have time to put in much of an effort the majority of time. With Chelsea on course to dropping points the last thing City need is players like Kalarov and Dzeko giving an half hearted performance.Lovebitesandeveryfing said:Interesting choice, that, by Pellegrini. Clear signal to Edin that just because Bony's here it doesn't mean that he isn't still very much part of his plans. Dzeko's not had much of a season so far. Time for him to repay faith, big time.
People forget that Dzeko actually worked quite well with Sergio during our first title winning season. Certainly much better than Sergio-Mario or (God forbid!) Edin-Mario.
Agreed with this frankly. I have a go at Dzeko regularly because I've never really thought he's up to the standard to play at City. He's a nice guy who I have nothing against personally, he does have talent, and he's scored good goals at important times for us... but at the end of the day, there are plenty of strikers out there who could do just as well, if not a hell of a lot better than him given the sorta service lads like David and Samir provide. To not play Bony for me is a bit shocking.. it's not like he's just come in from Germany and needs time to adjust to the league, he was the bloody top scorer of 2014, he's just come back from winning a continental championship and Dzeko hasn't scored in months. I knew Pellers wouldn't play him because he seems to love taking his time with things like this but we don't really have time anymore. The point of January signings is that they're meant to be making an instant impact and I doubt Wilfried will get more than 20 minutes today which is a real shame.
I think and hope we'll still win any way but it doesn't make playing 4-4-2 with Dzeko the right decision. I also think the whole situation has turned rather sour for young Jovetic. Sure, he hasn't really proven himself all that well but neither has Edin this season. At least Jovetic is young and offers some spark, he deserves more of a chance than he's been given for me and Dzeko really doesn't do anything to earn so much trust. Even if he's great in training or behind the scenes, at the end of the day on the pitch he offers desperately little time and time again.
Good luck to the lads anyway, if Chelsea draw and the rags lose we could be in for a great evening.
Fair play. You called it.mosssideblue said:SWP's back said:More chance of me groing a third dick than Edin starting ahead of Bony.mosssideblue said:Agree with the 442 bit. Think it will be Kun & Edin to start with wilf having a cameo role later. Cannot see Wilf Starting Tues though
Just no.
