Nasri in the Don Revie role as a deep lying centre forward?

Bring back the Deep Revie Boys!

LOL.
The time for introducing the likes of Ambrose, Pozo etc. is not in these must win games, but in the Capital One Cup (alright that opportunity was missed) and the FA Cup (opportunity coming up), and as subs in the event that we've built up a big lead in League games.
Agreed! Time for testing new players is not the crystal palace match. They can be tricky and we would do well to try and be careful with their wingers.

I too would go with
Hart
Zaba, MDM, Mangala, Clichy
Fernandinho, Fernando
Silva, Yaya, Milner
Nasri
With alternatively switching Yaya and Nasri up front, and bringing on FL later in the game.

After much wishful thinking for 48 hours, common sense at last!

Clichy will get a rest for this game, plus we will need Kolarov for the added creativity with us having no striker.

Our wide men need to track Bolasie and Zaha in this game or we will get caught on the counter.

..but Kolarov is slow and just back from lengthy injury .

probably seems mad but what about Lampard up front?

i wouldnt want a kid for this game (no Pozo or Ambrose for me) and i dont want Sinclair playing again. I can see why you would pop Nasri up there but why not stick Lampard up top with all shackles completely taken off his midfield duties? god knows he gets in the box enough already and is class at holding up play etc, and you can still field Ya Ya, Silva, Nasri, Fernando and Navas = plenty of service.

works imo. but that's just imo. imo.

Lampard has played that role before, and I'm sure along with the Yaya and Nasri options that MP is considering it. However whether he plays the whole game in the role is difficult to say.
