Lets not use the word stamp eh ? Do we want him banned ? Hulk slid under him nothing Silva could do.

Great result if rather flattering at 4-0, it could easily have gone the other way at the start of the second half, where we got very sloppy (I thought we were quite sloppy at times first half too) but JH made a couple of good saves.

History will always say we knocked out the holders 6-1 though, something I don't think many expected.

I really think this is an overreaction. It's not like Platini is reading Blue Moon and can't get a video of the game. Pretty innocuous from a respected player, nothing will happen.

It's funny and all but can we take this down? Seriously. I don't want this to hit the wire and all of a sudden the media is hunting for a 3 game ban for Silva. lol, you know it will happen.

And he didn't even stamp on him anyway. He ran towards the ball and accidentally stood of his arm.

Come on, if Silva stood on you it would be like a fly landing on you - such is his grace and movement!!! Blimey I'm surprised that he hasn't managed to fool gravity yet!!!

I actually thought Hulk played well and impressed me tonight

He's pretty technically gifted but the fact remains that he spends more time on his arse than standing.

Just had a look at some FC Porto forums they say pretty much the same thing

Which is kind of surreal considering he has the build of Mike Tyson.

As far as the Silva thing is concerned, the lad was class and you could tell that as soon as he realized he was standing on Hulk's arm he took his weight off of that foot and on to his other foot (which slowed him down somewhat). Really classy move, I thought, which could easily go unnoticed. I don't know what it is about David, I'm just really smitten by everything he does :)

On an unrelated note, how come every time Edin wins a header the ref calls it back for a foul? Is he elbowing defenders left and right or what's going on? It's really frustrating because it all looks like fair play and a good build-up and then the whistle blows :(

After watching Pizarro's movement and passing it makes me think that if Pizarro keeps it up all season and in the Prem League, he'll be given a permanent home?

Let alone this... Now that Yaya is out for the next Europa game due to his yellow this evening, would we put Pizarro in place?
