City Vs QPR The Final Game Post match Thread

Re: qpr after our 3rd

They did the same after our equaliser. I thought it was odd they didn't try to keep the ball for even a few minutes. Not complaining though!

Re: qpr after our 3rd

I was astounded when they did it after it going 2-2, to not even pass it back through midfield and defence before hoofing it seemed peculiar.
The way 3+ of their players collapsed to the floor after Aguero's goal makes me think they didn't know that they were safe, but by the time they got up and headed to the centre-circle I they must of all realised they were safe and there was no point.

qpr after our 3rd

I thought the United fans were brilliant at the Derby. They stood there and never said a word, just how i like them!

Re: QPR fans

I was in the qpr end (long story) and by pure chance next to another blue. We kept our cool for zabs and dzekos - but when Sergio scored couldn't control ourselves! Must have looked like a right pair of oddballs. On the whole the qpr fans were a good laugh, and joined in the celebrations - had they been relegated might have been a different story.

Re: QPR fans

Just wanted to congratulate you on winning the title, thoroughly deserved and glad you won it. For me, the results turned out the best way. You won the title and we stayed up. Much rather you won it than the Rags.

We've given you two dramatic games this season and could have gone either way.

Our clubs have many similarities. In 1996 we both got relegated from the EPL, and from there we both fell even further. During those years our hated neighbours and rivals, Chelski and Manure, went on to win loads of things while we were battling our way back to the top division. Also during those years, supporters of those clubs have taken the pi55 out of us which I'm sure you'll agree, was the bloody pits. Watching them win trophies hurts doesn't it?

We've also both attracted wealthy owners and are now back. While I'm not in any way suggesting we will emulate what you've achieved, I hope you stay true to your traditions. A proper football club with proper supporters who have followed the club through thick and thin, up and down the country. Don't become like yours or our neighbours and their fair weather fans. Stick true to your roots, which I'm sure you will.

I hope you all enjoy the parade today and see you next season!

PS. Have you forgiven Jamie Pollock yet? :)

Re: QPR fans

well done chaps - total fucking madness all round. Can't believe we've stayed up with the run in we had and large congrats to you lot for making the league a bit more bloody interesting - very well deserved. My perfect day would have been if we had won but somehow United had thrown it away by conceding a couple of late ones at Sunderland so you still win the league but we take home the most unlikely 3 points in footballing history!

Maddest, best day of football ever... i still don't know what to do with myself and we fucking lost! Christ only knows how you lot must feel.

Niiiiiice one to you all. Utterly, utterly amazing.

Strange because at one point they were chanting Rooney's name, by the end they were celebrating the Aguero goal with us.

It's just banter. Similar to us cheering the Bolton score at half time on the big screen then singing QPR after the full time whistle.

Re: QPR fans

just popped by to say congrats on your epic title win. spent saturday night drinking in a few boozers in the city centre and every city fan wished us well. walked to the ground yesterday with a few city fans and had a bit of good natured banter. the atmosphere yesterday was truely amazing-one i will never forget from the ups and down of us staying up to us going down as well as you lot winning it, losing it and finally winning it again. you will never get a game as emotional again involving both teams. yesterday was a game for real fans.loved the fact we joined in with each other celebrations. what a day. walked back to the city centre with city fans clapping us all the way-your a credit to your club. have a feeling you will now become a real force for a very long time and we have a real chance to establish ourslves as a proper prem team. thanks for memories that will live with me for ever and well done on never giving up-you deserve the title. blue moon from a blue and white hoop!!!!!

What time did Sergio score.

What was the exact time of Sergios goal? 4.56 4.55 or 4.54 the reason because I had my lucky city watched which had stopped at 4.56
