City Vs Spuds Post Match Discussion thread

SkySports News replay now of the Balo incident 10 times an hour in slow motion with body experts on discussing how his body shouldn't have made that movement until Balo rightfully gets the 9 game ban he deserves... it's a fuckin joke.

Parker should have already been off the pitch for a booking for his "tackle" on Richards in which Souness said it was a fine challenge, despite the fact that he takes Richards out with his trailing leg yet all Webb does is smile about it. Then (before aswell) and after that, he takes player after player out (Silva from behind at least once) yet it takes him til about 6 tackles before he's finally booked.

Then we have Walker throwing Balo down and doesn't even get a warning, Balo does nothing on Assou-Ekotto and gets a yellow... for his first challenge.

For me the incident with Balo and Parker was nothing, and no point does Balo's face or head look down, he's spinning whilst falling and tries to stay on his feet. To show it umpteen times in slow motion and have Neville say he should get retrospective action is a complete joke. Then to have Souness say that Webb shoudn't be a referee if he's not deeming that a red when you look at recent tackles that have got away scott free... but there's no media bias against City after all is there?!?

Balo will get a 3 game ban for that now, as SkySports will ensure that the FA do it by speaking about it as often as possible.
Ultimate proof if ever it was needed that Sky run the PL. We are pissing on all their plastic armchair chips big time and they don´t like it

I didn't think Mario should have been booked, I mean what was that yellow for? - but I'd have had no complaints if he'd have been shown red for the foul on Parker..

it's always hard to know what's going on in these situations (from the perspective of intent) and defenders and forwards are always getting in on each other whenever they can, so whilst I'm sure Mario wasn't looking to kick anyone in the head on purpose his movement looked a little 'off' and I think he was lucky to still be on the pitch; either a straight red or another yellow wouldn't have been out of place, unlike Kompany and Barry's dismissals in recent weeks.

we got out of jail here today - but I don't know if we'll be so lucky during the week if the F A decide to retrospectively punish our player.

why is there so much crap about one nothing event that the ref saw and decided it was nothing. More chat on the game please.

Nasri I thought was very good as were Milner and Barry.

Savic is a young johnny evans. Its ridiculous.. Hopefully he becomes better than that eventually.

Hope so. he was good the first half then took a lesson he can learn from in the second

I was so happy for Nasri to get on the score sheet. Spurs is the team he's always been really good against.

Even at Arsenal.

Disagree, Balotelli definitely tried to stamp on Scott Parker. That said, he didn't actually catch him.

So for me, the retrospective red is hanging in the balance. Will he get a 3 game ban? I have to say, probably yes he will.

He's a total fucking nut. There was absolutely no need to risk that.
No no no no way bro...he way out of balance

Blue glasses mate. Honestly. Take another look at it with the goggles off.
