Subs: Caballero, Kolarov, Boyata, Toure, Fernandinho, Jovetic, Dzeko.

Strong bench but no Zabaleta at all. Take it Nastasic is away come January.

That piece with frank lampard and city in the community working with disabled kids was really moving.

Spurs are no mugs now. Beat Southampton away and looked dangerous on the break vs Arse. Big risk making so many changes, international break or not

Lampard has done great for us ...off the bench. Not sure he should be starting games.

Last time we fucked about with the line-up so much we got done by Stoke.
Oh Dave, you are such a ray of sunshine.

Sunny disposition or not, I'm struggling to get my head around that line up as well. I watched Spurs at the Arse a few weeks ago, and uncharacteristically for a Pochettino side they sat deep, played on the counter and could and should have won. If they do the same today, we may struggle to open them up with that diddyman line up, as we have failed in similar circumstances against other like minded teams.
Dzeko is a form horse against Spurs and has become something of a go to guy when we need an answer to a deep lying, disciplined defence. I would certainly have started him today, and Kolarov as a supply line, and 4-5-1 would have suited Ya Ya and allowed him to boss the game. All 3 are absent. Sagna and Clichy both need to step up to the plate today, cos they've been gash for the most part this season so far.
I know the owners will care passionately about CSKA, but I place more personal importance on the PL. An early goal should help, but without it I think we may need to look to the subs bench to see these off.

We'll have a world class bench in case things go sideways.
There's the plus. I wonder if pellers is taking spurs a little lightly after we bummed them last season?

roads are gridlocked around denton/audenshaw/ashton old road

also just seen on Facebook about someone being hit by a train at heaton chapel...going to affect the trains between picadilly and anywhere going back south including the london trains so will cause a problem for the spurs supporters on the way home which may add to the delays as well
