Gareth Bale (ankle), Benoit Assou-Ekotto (hamstring) and Tom Huddlestone (ankle) are out while there are doubts over Peter Crouch (back) and Luka Modric (hip).

Thinking this is just bullshit but if Modric is really out... now THAT would be a huge blow to them.

Re: Modric out too?

Looks like it may be worth giving AJ a start and telling him to run at the LB - are they going to have to put a youth or a CB in that position? I can't think of any other LBs they have. Just looked at their website and don't recognise any of their defenders as a LB apart from Ekotto (although Bale is listed as a defender).

Plus, how many midfielders does 'Arry want - they have 14 (including Bale) listed!! Ok, we have 12 but of the 12 , 2 are kids, 1 crocked all season and Weiss out on loan all season.

We do have 9 strikers on our site though which looks bad until you realise just how many are on loan or don't get any real game time.

Re: Modric out too?

You could tell from Arry's interview after the Blackpool game he considers 4th gone now. It really wouldnt surprise me to see Spurs play weakened teams over the next 3 games to ensure the dont qualify for the Europa League.

Re: Modric out too?

well i hope no more drop out cos then we'd have to play ourselves and if that happened we'd deffo lose.

Doesn't matter that Tottenham have a few midfield players injured:

We simply need to stop Defoe getting the ball inside or just outside our penalty box.

Defoe will be one of severeal threats tomorrow who we will have to carefully watch . But they could say the same about us , we have maybe 6 players on the pitch who could cause them serious damage. With modric and huddlestone out , I don't know who they would play in midfield alongside sandro ?
