Quicker play is needed for City. We intercept the ball on a stoke attack but we then proceed to pass the ball either sideways or back. Giving Stoke plenty of time to set their attack. We can't let their brick wall bet set so quickly. I remember a commentator saying that Stoke are very weak when you get past their fullbacks because their CB's aren't very quick so long balls to the wings are a must.

An excellent first half, Kompany and Barry are controlling defence and midfield. Dzeko is doing ok, linking play for Aguero to work openings. Another 4 chances for Kun today but none taken, when he does hit a vein of scoring form, lookout.
