I'd be disappointed if Milner doesn't get a run out in this one. Maybe rest Silva or Nasri?
Silva imo. Nasri doesn't play for his national team anyway so he will get 2 weeks rest. Silva doesn't.

Will Silva play for Spain? He copped a ton of grief at the WC, seemed to be scapegoated for that miss against Holland,

I will be disappointed if he does get a run out. He's not going to sign a new contract we should be looking to move him on.

Decisions like this cost us points last season. Strongest available team should play, and Milner isn't in that team.

I'd be hugely disappointed if we started playing "squad" players on the basis that it's Stoke.

Just realised we will go top at 5 o'clock with a win. It may only be for a couple of hours but top is top.

And it will count when the number of days at the top of the league trophy is given out by Sky at the end of the season.

Exactly. There are elements of rotation that are fine, imo - AK for Clichy, Sagna for Zab, Ferny for Nando but outside of those I wouldn't be doing too much at this point. We need to be taking Stoke seriously at the moment as it would undo the decent start if we dropped a bollock tomorrow.

Haha we'll have Arsenal's trophy this season as well.

Also it's not like there's a midweek game players need to be rested for. International break next.

Anyway I suspect that we'll see our strongest XI no doubt.
