Yep. CB gives away penalty and gets sent off costing the team the game and still gets picked ahead of you. Stoke is exactly the sort of team you'd want Lescott facing.

As he has faith in playing style he has faith in players to execute it.
Like all managers he will ride or fall on his decisions.

was at fault for the 2nd and even friends of mine who don't watch much football though his attempt as a pass back was ridiculous and that children could have done better.
He's not good enough, Demichelis took a gamble and it didn't pay off but was sold short by Vinnie and Barca hadn't looked like scoring before then.

I agree he weren't the best vs barca but he was outstanding against Chelsea and IMO him and kompany is the best partnership

Irrespective of the diverse opinion on here, Pellegrini obviously does not rate him and he will be gone in the summer.

Pellegrini is certainly nailing his colours to the mast.
I thought Demichelis played well before being sent off (which was a horrible decision, mind, but if you study the situation Kompany was just as complicit in putting Martin in that bind) and Lescott was pretty awful when he was on (I commented to mate, after watching Lescott for his first five or so minutes, that Barça would score on that side after Lescott drew inside out of position, as he had over and over... And they did--they would have scored more had he started). That said, I'd still take Nastasic over both of them--hopefully he is back soon.
Like many I am a bit disappointed that Jovetic does not start in Dzeko's place (how times have changed) but I can only assume the coaching staff knows something we don't.
I am thinking a 2-0 win, Negredo and Nasri.
