But MDM doesn't control the ball well at all. He constantly gives it away with his cavalier passing. And when he's under pressure he panics and hoofs it away to the other team. Lescott can do that just as well without all the diving in, getting caught out of position and picking up red cards.

Lescott has no agility (read ball control or dribbling skills) and gets caught out of position just as much now, if not more, than Demichelis. We really need a top class centreback to partner Kompany and challenge Nastasic to develop for the future.
 
I am confident we can get the 3 points though it will be a scrappy game.
