Fucking brilliant performance today. So many positives. We were so poor mid week but still got a point, today we were excellent. Clean sheet that joe hart deserves. Great to see Micah back and that we can cope without kompany. James Milner never stopped. We played like a team for the first time this season. Tevez deserved a goal.

excellent performances all over the place. true, sunderland were poor and their ball retention was horrendous, but even so, we worked very hard and milner was my pick of the best of a great bunch. special mention of kolarov as well.

the movement was back- im so relieved, i was starting to think last season was all a dream :)

Been saying for ages how much better we look and perform with Milner and Barry in the guts.

If Roberto doesn't start Milner in every home game he is making it harder on ourselves to dominate possession in the areas that matter and make life easier for Joe.

Not surprised with the introduction of Richards , Barry and Milner we kept our first clean sheet.
