Fuck, Micah seems to be out for a while.

He is very injury prone anyway but most of his injuries are small ones, like 1-2 week long.

This one seems serious.

Looks like a bad one, gutted. Got to wonder about Micah sometimes, does he really need to carry so much weight? It must put some serious pressure on his body, often during games he looks to pick up little niggles and stuff.

Brilliant finish. I said we'd step it up in the second-half, like we always do, and we have. Now let's go and get a few more.

Im intrigued by the play shit for one half and step it up for the second half tactic.

It's not 'playing shit' it's just refraining from pushing too high up the pitch whilst your opponent has energy to burn because it leaves you open to counter attacks early on. Especially with our defence the way it is at the moment. You wear the opponent out with possession in one half and then push forward for the kill in the second.

This isn't a new thing, we've been doing this for about as long as I can remember.

Pity he didn't get a tongue injury at Ajax.

The one he got back from recently put him out for a while, it was just slightly masked by the international break. I still haven't forgotten Mancini's 'glass' reference when asked about Micah, if he wasn't part of the furniture I don't think he'd have any qualms about moving him on.

-- Sat Oct 27, 2012 6:15 pm --
