Deserved at least a draw but you have to give the fuckers credit, they are ruthless. They are also a much more balanced side than us. Is this a wind up? Clichy was absolutely outstanding. The best player on the pitch by a mile.

He played poor defensively in this match. Rafael and Valencia were easily bypassing him, but offensively he seemed pretty good.

I'm sorry but this is a nonsense. Even despite being 2v1 for most of the game Clichy got the better of Valencia quite easily.

The whole back four played well as far as im concerned the shots united scored from were through players legs or deflections.On another day who knows?
Balotelli had one of his default performances some good Some bad moments,bit like the team as a whole really.
We lost. We probably deserved a draw.Noone and everyone is to blame.

we need several players in.

we have ONE creative player (I'm not including aguero or tevez)

we have NO defensive midfielder. milner, barry and toure cannot do this job. hate to bring up de jong but when we lost him we lost a great option to have on the bench.

we have NO ONE who can play wide. no, I'm not counting fullbacks or sinclair who isn't a real player

we have NO ONE who is fast. again, I'm not counting sinclair.

our squad is several players short, we really fucked up in the summer

We have no wide play nor pace because Mancini does not believe these are important attributes in his squad. He's a Serie A diamond formation guy, and that is the REAL reason we are lacking in those areas. Agree that Nigel was a huge loss, and that was a decision that was surely taken above Mancini's position.
