Well, here we are. The new season only 1 week away and now we have our first home game since the four new signings and our American tour and Dortmund game.

Over the past couple of weeks or so, we've seen some truly turgid football. Hopeless passing, dismal defending and toothless attacking.

But today the Chairman is in town. And it all starts for real in only 7 days.

So what will we see this evening? A stunning performance and stonking victory? Or more of the same from the past few games?

Any ideas?

I hope to Christ we get a good performance tonightt, because quite frankly there will be many a city fan that will begin to worry.

I'm not too worried, but unless we get our act together quickly we could be looking at some poor results early in the season, and sitting in the bottom half of the table, pressure would inevitably build.

I think we'll win with Adebayor bagging a goal or 2

we should've played an Irish plumbers 11 instead to make us look good
