City Vs West Brom Post Match Discussion Thread

Not a lot to say cos buffering was MotM on my low speed broadband feed!

Pretty awful for two thirds of the game and impressive for half an hour, when the game was won and should have been sown up.

I know this was virtually a second string side but it is still one that should be capable of maintaining a better level of performance.

Anyhow, an important three points won and everything else can wait.
 
CL secure more or less. Roll on Sat. Wigan will be licking their wounds after tonight performance, let's hope they don't turn up on Saturday.
 
What was with our set piece delivery today? All of our best headers in one team (minus Vinny) and Kolorov and Tevez couldn't come up with even a vaguely threatening cross between them.
 
well done City, good three points against an average West Brom team.

Rodwell (although not deserving of MOTM), Tevez, Richards, Nasri all with key performances.

True but if they lose tomorrow then we have at least a Top 3 position secure.
 
Very good first half, poor second. Created a ton of chances but couldn't kill off the game. Sound familiar?
Kolo and Lescott looked a little shakey but that can happen, Kolarov was non existent for most of the match but looked a threat when he did get involved. Richards though looked superb back to full fitness. Rodwell was everywhere and very unlucky not to open his account, he is a BIG talent. Garcia was poor at the start but grew better during the match and showed a few nice touches in the second half. Nasri and Tevez where the driving forces in the team, both where creative, incisive and classy. Dzeko had a decent game and capped it with the winning goal, can't help but get the feeling he isn't giving his all though. Milner industrious as ever and showed glimpses of real quality. Barry was ok when he came on but Maicon looked rusty (understandably). Nice to see Razak although I'd have liked to see a bit more of him.
