City Vs West Brom Post Match Discussion Thread

Just had a little gander at the match day thread to see how the natives took our first 15 minutes and was suitably impressed..Haha!
We should have scored 6, could've conceded a couple and overall the game was pretty much a snapshot of our season.
Good to see Richards getting a few more minutes, thought Rodwell had another confident game (bar his finishing of course) Nasri in patches was brilliant as was Tevez. Hart made a couple of great saves and deserves his golden glove award and nice to see Dzeko score when it looked as though the Swansea game had completely done his confidence in.
Obviously there was plenty to gripe about if you really wanted - Garcia not quite looking upto scratch and several portions of the game where we seemed to sit back and invite them to come at us but you know what? Fuck it - another 3 points, another clean sheet. no injuries and welcome gametime for a couple of players who will hopefully play a big part in next season in Rodwell and Richards.
See you all at Wembley you miserable bastards.. :-)
 
We had a purple spell of 25 minutes at the end of the 1st half when we played really well.

The rest of the game was poor! WBA were abject. Lukaku was a big disappointment after a bright start. now I can see why WBA use so much as as sub. His game is about power.

Good 3 points. Rodwell showed what a class player he is. Still rusty, but good passing and gets forward to support the forwards. He'll be a big player for us, and I think he will make the bench

Dzeko, tevez, Nasri and Milner had good games.
 
In the end we made hard work after a very impressive half hour in the first half.Thought Jimmy had another good game.Nasri must be a starter on Saturday.Carlos,what can you say.Immense tonight.But my one ray of sunshine came from young Jack.Excellent,seeing he`s been out for so long and if only he can stay fit,then we`re going to see him become a great player for us.
Only real criticism was Joes poor distribution again and he did put us under a little bit of pressure with some of his passing to defenders when they had very little time to look for a team mate.Having said that he made a couiple of "decent" saves.
Overall, job well done after me worrying about the team selection !

Did well did rodders, shame he didn't score , will only improve providing he keeps clear from injury... Still only.gonna be a bit part player next season though....
 
Terrible performance but we got the three points. Only decent thing about this match was the kid getting soaked with the sprinkler at half time. Garcia, Kolarov, Kolo and Dzeko were utter garbage. Thought Tevez was excellent, all our decent play went through him or Milner on the right. I also like Rodwell, finds some good positions and if it wasn't for some shit finishing he could had a hat trick. I would think quite a few played there last City games tonight.
