City Vs West Ham Post Match Reaction Thread

Hope Zabaleta's injury isn't so serious, we always win with him in the team!

GET IN! cracking win. difficult task against any of the bottom sides this close to end of season. 3pts on we move.

I thought the substitutions Mancini made were spot on tactically. He dropped Yaya into the centre and from then on we took control of the game. He really is the best CM in the league for me. Passing is sublime, always weighted perfectly whether long or short, unstoppable runs, gets his fair share of goals. Just an incredible player.

Phew and exhales, another three points, 7 clear of Spuds and Bin dippers. Four games left another gritty performance needed blues at Everton next week please, hope NDJ and Zab aren't too badly hurt.

The commentators were going way over the top on how West Ham performed. They contained us well after the first half and hour and they had some possession but they created next to nothing despite Kompany not looking at his best and De Jong going off. We should have scored 6/7 in reality and Balotelli definitely needs a goal soon.

We flattered to deceive at times but 3 wins on the trot since that shambles at Anfield has been the perfect answer to the criticism.

As for the players it was between Zab and Yaya for mom plus special mentions to Silva and Barry (excellent 1st half, not so second).

Nerve-shredding! Yet they didn't give us many problems, it was just the fear that at 2-1 they were one chance away from nicking points.

We could have had 4, 5, even 6, but the ball didn't want to go in.

Outstanding performances from Yaya, Lescott, Silva, and Zaba. Yaya is just unplayable at his best and Lescott despite being so consistent for so long outshone Kompany for the first time I can remember today.

Very good performances from Kompany, Milner, and Barry. Milner was often central and it showed, he is a much different player there, pinpoint passing and clever in the dying moments.

Fair performances from Balo, Johnson (bit greedy at times though), and De Jong. Now that we know Nige was playing injured, it makes his goal bittersweet.

Dzeko was also pretty good when he came on, he was class killing time in the last minutes.

Pure dross from Kolarov again, can't even seem to control the ball like a top level player and killed two potentially dangerous attacks for us. Not sure whether its confidence or just the player, a new LB must be a priority.
