Imperative we put this tie to put bed tomorrow. We simply can't underestimate how much this trophy can boost our title chances...it's only an extra 3 games! CMON CITY
Certainly this. Go out strong to win then take the foot off the pedal 2nd leg.

I agree with you Ladyblue !!. Hope we don't underestimate West Ham like we did with Palace and Blackburn.
Get the tie finished tomorrow night and we can then play the reserve team in the second leg.
Hope Lopes gets another chance as he was very good against Wigan.

I don't think we underestimated Palace. We just played a weakened team because it was a very busy period and we had a tough away game coming up.

Good luck tommorow Blues, not that I think your gonna need it ! however, I think Big Sam will have our players fired up tommorow and park the bus - if we can come away with a 1 or 2 nil loss then hopefully by the time of the replay we will have a fit Carrol, Reid, Collins, Vaz Te, Noble, Morrison and so on !

Strangely confident we will do our selfs proud tommorow after the shambles in the FA cup. COYI

32,000 sold (30,000 to City fans, 2,000 to West Ham fans) according to The Sun, who bring up the debate on ticket prices. I guess we could add a fair number on the day to that. I know it's a semi final, but the League Cup is low priority for a big % of fans, so the ticket prices weren't ideal for many.

From City's point of view, if we are to win this game we need a good 2 or 3 goal advantage going into the second leg, no way would I like us going away to West Ham with only a one goal lead.

I am expecting a tough game tomorrow, I can see West Ham making it very difficult for City and it wouldn't surprise me the away team getting a goal or two.

Our mentality has to be spot on.

If Arsenal can start Gnbary, and United can start Januzaj, why can't we start Lopes tomorrow ?

cos utd got beat and we would like to win.

I really like the look of Gnabry..

Pacey, strong, tough, ability to beat his man, with good passing abilities and a thunderous shot (not to mention his work rate in defense).

At 18 the Tarquins really got a gem there
