After the performance a few of those players showed at Blackburn they don't warrant a place in the starting line up tonight surprised that Garcia and Dzeko is starting in particular. Not in the humour of looking at the human traffic cone Dzeko looking disinterested tonight! Hope he shows a bit of fight at least looks like he wants to be playing.

Weird team. Midfield two featuring Garcia?

We must expect them to not come out of their half because they would walk through the middle of midfield in theory.

Playing two up front has worked at all this season
I'm assuming you mean it has worked each time but if we can beat Bayern away with one up front, I don't see why he persists with two not just away from home but in a game he's clearly seen as a chance to rest players.

We are not playing Bayern away, he keeps on telling us we have a style of playing and obviously he likes 2 up front
Thanks for clearing that up, was so confusing.

With Negredo & Dzeko starting tonight I would expect Aguero to play some part this weekend.

We will not win this one well.

This is Fat Sam's side.

They'll be in damage limitation mode- unless we score 3 and the tie is beyond them they'll defend tooth and nail.

We're shite against sides who do exactly what Fat Sam will do today.

2 up front is a good move, if only because we can resort to just swinging balls into the box.

I'm inclined to agree. Without wishing to sound like a broken record, I cannot fathom what Pellegrini thinks Garcia is gonna bring to the party. I think we will miss both Fernandinho and Navas badly in terms of the team's mobility, and I'm surprised Kolarov hasn't been selected to give us some attacking width. I think this could be a long and frustrating night, with the game played at a snail's pace

Garcia should be ok if it goes that slow.

We're playing Real Madrid right? Allardyce manages them, doesn't he?

Apologies for the negative vibe!
