The must like Canadians more than Americans. They sent me to Harpurhey for pubs.

Not sure what harpurhey is. But I think people do like Canadians lol we don't really upset anyone. Also have the day off so might check out Waldorf.
Don't go to the Waldorf, decidedly poor/average

Head towards Shambles Square if it's sunny, or the Crown and Anchor (not too far from the station) if its not

Is there nothing good closer to the ethiad. I'm down Oldham road a bit out of the northern quarter. If there's something closer its not a far walk for me. I guess I can always just tram from Victoria if I head down that way first.

why not play the strongest team tonight to guarantee 3 points vs Wigan rather than risk dropping points with a weakened team?

if we rested players and then played them against Spurs away on Sunday we could still lose that game which would mean we've thrown away 6/4 points?

Manchester isn't that big, if you are based in the Northern Quarter then there are some good bars
Try Bar Fringe just off Oldham Road
It's easy jumping the tram from Victoria to the game, that's what we'll be doing

In fact they are all easier to get to than the Waldorf if you are on Oldham Road

Because the lads are definitely tired after two hard games. I doubt most of them will be rested, but we still have good players on the bench capable of winning us this game.

Is it city friendly. I don't want a hooligan pub or anything like that. Sorry north american preconception that these games get rowdy.

You will have absolutely no problem in the Bar Fringe, or the Norther Quarter or Shambles today
