Yah maybe I'll do that. Thanks
Is it city friendly. I don't want a hooligan pub or anything like that. Sorry north american preconception that these games get rowdy.
You will have absolutely no problem in the Bar Fringe, or the Norther Quarter or Shambles today
Perfect thanks! Maybe see you lot at the pub or game.

Reading the last few pages it seems like two separate threads. One about the Wigan game and a parallel thread about drinking establishments. Anyway, I still think we should rest many of our star players. The game on Sunday at White Hart Lane is more important.

Hmmm ...

i'm not so sure about that , although i suppose it depends on how you look at things ...

we currently lie seven points in front of Spurs on Sunday , with a game in hand on them ..... even if we won at Spurs it would only yield three points , the same as we'll get should we beat Wigan tonite ..... there are no doubt many that would just rather get the Wigan points 'in the bag' , as it would then heap immense pressure on Spurs to beat us on Sunday , and that could leave 'gaps' for us ... and a City win tonite could also be useful as Chelsea might , themselves , get three points tonite !!!

However Chelseas next couple of games are tough , and it won't be easy for them at either Fulham and Liverpool.

In my view the game against Wigan at the Etihad tonite is the more important game , and shouldn't be treated lightly ......

REFEREE CHANGE Jon Moss is now the referee for the Manchester City v Wigan match later on Wednesday. #MCIWIG

hello.......?

I'm trying to get into the mind of Mancini and i think that we may well see us start with 3 at the back tonight, with Kolarov and Maicon as wing-backs. For a couple of reasons: Mancini will want to rest as many of Sunday's players as possible, but we don't have a lot of depth in the attacking positions, especially with Silva not yet ready to play. So playing with wing-backs allows him to rest an extra attacker. The 2nd reason i think he'll do it is because Wigan also play 3 at the back and catch a few teams out with it. Tonight is a game that Mancini will take a risk with his team selection, we'll win by doing "just enough" and then we all move on to White Hart Lane with a rested squad. Just got a feeling we'll see a weird team tonight!

If we win tonite then the spurs match wont be as important though, will it?
