Error of judgement by a girl who is an employee rather than a fan. Her employer had just lost the local derby, but not her team. It will never have occurred to her that she was about to cause such a shit storm. First thing this morning when we were all still stinging and the news broke, it felt like a hanging offence, but now, not so much. I’m sure that our PR and business development teams gave her a bollocking, I doubt that she’ll do it again, she’s apologised, so it should now be dropped.

Far to little and far to late, I won't be taking my daughters again
untill city do you right thing and get shot of her!!!
And sooner rather than later.

This is my tweet to her.

I, for one, fully accept your apology. Whilst an #MCFC employee, I merely expect you to respect the club and be a role model.

I now fully support her and, of course the women's teams in general, the latter never in doubt.

Now, Ms Duggan, just get back to representing club and country. Stick to 'glamming' as professionally appropriate. Ta, luv.

The club obviously sorted the press release.

It's not relevant what she knew but rather what she did.

Sometimes, I read the Moan and wonder if it is actually 2015.

OK the scouser has apologised so that's good enough for me re. the photo / tweet.

That said an hour before kick off, with the benefit of a few pints in Salford, Rascal had sold the merits of the women's game to me. Now I feel like I couldn't be arsed going. I will stick with the first team and the odd EDS game.
