2 violent assaults on the pitch in quick succession, not to mention what has been going on off it.... these freeloaders are embarrassing the club at the minute (well they would be if they got more recognition), which is impressive considering the proper team aren't exactly covering themselves in glory.

Alib, you ever seen City Women play or is it just prejudice? They can cross a ball better than the men and I think they have more headed goals in the last 12 months than the men.

Some of the comments on here are laughable, end of the day the women's team is part of City, so if people want to follow club without a women's team, there's a team in trafford they can follow !

Don't suppose they score from corners do they?

there's no excuse for any of our sides to go back to the Barton/Thatcher days of behaviour.

They need to be more professional, both on and off the pitch, it's something they have to learn with the spotlight they now have and the transitions in the women's game.

The thing is the BBC employ Barton regardless of what he has done over the years. (I hate Barton and totally against the BBC employing him.) So I really don't know why the BBC are making a big deal of it just because it is women lashing out.

Probably the 3 biggest names in the team as well.

I went to a few games when they were amateurs and did the friendly v Villa a month or so ago but wasn't greatly impressed, after photo gate I'm much less likely to go again.

Just over a thousand there today, with 44,000 fans within a couple of hundred yards it's not going too well.

They get the biggest women's football crowds in the UK.

They also had a massive (sorry ;)) crowd of City fans on tap, promoted the game this fuck etc. Do other female teams play in a stadium like ours so close to the first team on the same day?

It might be a big crowd in relation to other games but its not a good turn out for all the effort put in, it was Sunday afternoon and a decent day, not a good turnout all things considered.

yesterday would have been the perfect opportunity to be a freebie for Season ticket holders (and maybe a quid for non). Took my two lads and whilst £14 for 3 is hardly gonna break the bank, it's still another £14 on the matchday cost. Would have thought the increased sponsorship opps for getting say 4k instead 1k would cover the few grand they took on the gate yesterday.

And have to say the quality of the football was very good - you can see they are a "city" team (#holistic?) even though most of their crosses actually made it to the intended target ;)

Why ? End of the day they are a City team, part of the club, so get behind them and stop slagging the club off !

Just seen the head butt, it looks like the Arsenal number 3 comes straight from the Shrek school of refing - ran straight to the ref screaming in his ear - twat
