Fantastic achievement and a cup final as well. Made up and here's hoping they bring the cup home and finish undefeated for the season.

Champions, well done, amazing time to be a Manchester City fan, no matter what age group or gender, come on City...

Just read those comments - scary theres plenty of insecure morons out there.
Yes, there are some real fuckwits on the comments pages - especially the ones who claim they clicked on the match report because it read "Manchester City 2-0 Chelsea" and they thought it was a mens PL match!!

God you'd have thought they would have been embarrassed to admit that the ignorant, sexist toss bags.

Yep, as well as it saying 'Man City win Women's Super League for first time', and having a picture of Toni Duggan celebrating her goal. Not sure how anybody thinks that is anything other than a report on women's football. Clowns.

Have really enjoyed watching Manchester City Women this season particularly - love the way we play. Great skill, organisation and work ethic. Congratulations to our Girls in Blue. Today's win was hard earned against a good Chelsea side. Jill Scott was our best player for me but there were so many good performances out there. My only gripe was the stewarding which was not helpful at all and officious - we had to walk round three quarters of the ground to find a seat when we should have been allowed to walk behind the South Stand goal. Poor.

Enjoyed the coverage on BBC1 now - no snide comments about "the money" or anything about City. Just a celebration of a very good and potentially great side by an excellent presenter and two knowledgeable, unbiased pundits who explain things like tactics or how the women's game is structured in a non patronising way.

Good comments on the Beeb - the pundits know we are brilliant for women's football so they are never going to criticise - they want other clubs to follow our lead and bring greater professionalism.
