Read a few things on him yesterday. Apparently won about four goalkeeper of the tournament awards last season.

Was wondering if he was related.

Mark Allen said on Saturday that we are essentially moving away from U21/U18 to U19/U16 from next season, and he's really big on the Breda model of sending multiple players out on loan to the same club. So a lot of the 20/21 year olds will be shifted out on loan this summer to what he calls "finishing school" and it will be very young teams at the EDS/U18 age group.

I like the sound of that a lot. As good as our U18's and U16's have been, it'd be no good for them to beat up on the same teams year in year out. If they can have a good season playing up, that will do loads more for their progression and confidence.

Looking farther down the line it can only help in introducing youth players to the 1st team at an earlier age hopefully.
