City's best-ever penalty taker? (any era)

Always remember Mark Ward used to put them in off the post but then I can remember how well he struck the bucket after being subbed once.

Statistically YaYa - followed by Balotelli and then our Chinese player "Lee 1 Pen" and quite a way behind, Aguero (who has now missed 3+ pens since 2014).
YaYa (14) and Balotelli (9) have never missed for us.

Elano for me.

Balotelli - excellent though he was - relied on the keeper moving and then shooting the other way. And if the keeper doesn't move, it's just about saveable.

Elano relied on nothing. He simply fired it so hard into the side netting, that there's nothing any keeper can do about it.

That is not true. Many keepers tried that. If that happens he simply passes it firmly into either corner. It is impossible for the Keeper to get there in time if he doesn't guess. His technique ensures that the only way he misses is if HE makes a mistake.
