as the most elegant full-back in the world!)
I will just list some of the names that others would have forgotten about:
- Tommy Booth
- Paul Lake
- Alan Oakes
- Asa Hartford ( wonder why nobody picks him .... Great midfielder)
- Paul Power
- Gary Owen ( same as Asa ... Think he was the record U-21 caps holder for England)
- Kenny Clement ( Great service as a RB)
- Derek Parlane, Jim Melrose, Jim Tolmie (during the MacNeil's era)
- Peter Reid
- Neil McNab
- Dennis Tueart ( 20 goals a year from the wing!)
- Joe Royle ( better center forward than manager)
