Just noticed that many of our players have brothers who are pro's - thought this was quite unusual for one team to have so many footballers who have porfessional siblings? anyone know anymore?

Vincent Kompany - Francois Kompany (maccelsfield)
Kolo toure - Yaya Toure (Barca)
Joleon Lescott - Aaron Lescott (Bristol Rovers)
SWP - Bradley wp (Plymouth)
Kelvin Etuhu - Dixon Etuhu (fulham)
Roque - Juilo santa cruz (Blackburn)

has'nt Santa Cruz got a brother that plays for Blackburn aswell?
 
well suppose 5 isnt that many...just thought it was quite an unusual fact, well its 6 now because juilo santa cruz is at Blckburn like you said mate.

Cant really think of any more teams like this apart from the rags...ferdinand, rooney, the twins and neville all have brothers who are pros.

Only remember Nick... did the other play for the 1st team?
 
Dave and Gary Bennett. Gary never played for the first team but had a good career. Coincidentally, they grew up only a couple of streets away from the Beckfords in Longsight.
Nick Fenton definitely had a brother, but didn't make the grade. May even have been twins?
Have Jim and Jeff Whitley been mentioned?

Thankfully we have the better brother in most of those cases! Only Kolo and Kelvin are not as good as their brother.
