Whilst searching for information about "Anna Connell" which is on another thread, I came across this site which has all our home kits listed since our formation:

Hope you find it interesting!

1884 was a good year. Shame we ever went to dark blue, then light blue.

like it.....but... does any one know why we suddenly put maroon on the socks in 1966 and then navy blue and red in 1972. imo, think we should get the maroon put back on the socks

All maroon was the change strip back in the mid to late 60s until we switched to red'n'black stripes. In 72/73 one of the change strips featured red and royal blue. I'm guessing that these were the reasons for including the colours in the home socks.

125 years this year since Gorton. Will we be having a black kit with White cross next season for a special away kit. ?

Would love to get my hands on an 82 kit purely cos it's the year of my birth and quite nice too. Shame thay don't do replicas of it.
