City's New Kits - 2019/20

Marketing teams at Puma and City :

Sales = ..........
Profit = ..........

Bluemoon posters :
"Blue and white only please."

City and Puma (or any other kit manufacturer) :

"Okay, so how many people are gonna buy a kit that looks almost identical to the one they bought last season? Then, next season, buy ANOTHER Home shirt that, er, looks very similar to the previous one? Of course, this also applies to AWAY and 3rd kits!"

Bluemoon posters :
" BUT, BUT, BUT...."

City and Puma :
"We believe that we will SELL MANY more kits if we continue to have amendments or slight tweaks to kits we know are favoured by many Blues"

Bluemoon poster :
"We don't like the new kits and I won't be buying one and have NOT worn a kit for 20 years now!!"

City and Puma :
"Yes, no worries. That is one of our main considerations when we plan our marketing strategies. Our statistics clearly show that Sales revenue and profits are increasing season upon season. Targeting the YOUNGER market has been a huge success and we will continue to explore innovative and creative ideas as we move forward"

Bluemoon poster:
"Well, I don't like the constant changes. I have three children and they ALL insist on a new kit every season. I can afford them but it is just not fair."

City and Puma :
"Thanks for your input. We are enclosing a link to the new training tops. Your kids will love 'em!!"

;)
but they are still shitty.

Manchester itself actually... I also lived and worked there for years.

We’re really the Manc club? Outsiders at all the matches now. Locals priced out.

Recent Seasoncard holders near me were from Oldham, New Mills, Farnworth, Sheffield and Carlisle. Can you see Clayton in that list?

Oldham, New Mills and Farnworth are all within a commuting distance into Manchester City centre. All three would be full of people who have grown up spending lots of time in Manchester and the culture isn’t too dissimilar from Manchester.

Have you been to either of those places? Two are actually in Greater Manchester and one is just outside.

All three are mostly either City or Utd.

Plus I’m a season ticket holder and there’s still a huge percentage of locals that attend games, maybe 90%+.

All the colours and weird designs for the away and 3rd shirt and then " got to change something so just lump a purple stripe on the arms" for the home shirt.

yes, everyone on here likes them.
sales figures? how many new ones have been sold?

None yet but I bet they'll be best sellers when they come out on 1/7.

Was at a junior football event in North Manchester at the weekend with over 100 kids. About 70% were wearing City kits and only 3 in a home shirt.

The future is buying an away kit, the brighter the better. One whole team was wearing our neon green kit. If you long for the old kits, have a look your old match day programmes, because they won't be back any time soon.
