Would you sacrifice the purple on the shirt for blue shorts?

Why, was that an option?
I don't actually mind blue shorts. My fist City kit, as a boy, had blue shorts. I'd prefer a blue and white shirt with white shorts though, not a blue and purple shirt!
I don't wear replica football shirts now, I'm in my thirties, but I just want City to have a blue and white home kit.
