City's popularity expanding worldwide

Was up in the north of Spain last Monday just about to take a picture when a kid ran across my view and I stopped. Now I wish I hadn't. I looked up at said boy and saw he was wearing the new kit resplendent with De Bruyne splashed on the back...

Been here for 22 years now, originally moved to Savannah where I met a brilliant guy who was originally from Stalybridge and was of course a huge City fan.
Moved to our present location 20 years ago now, we are 40 or so miles North of Atlanta in a small town/city called Buford. Our cleaner's teenage lad is a big City fan and so is my doctors teenage son (who i gave a couple of old but unworn shirts to recently!)
Regularly see City shirts downtown/midtown Atlanta and always acknowledge them!
"City here, City there, City every fkin where, nah nah nah"
Always loved Savannah. Could retire there some day...

I am a member of the City Supporters club in Boston. The numbers seem to be growing all the time.

Also, on a Zoom call last week with our Arizona peeps, one of them was wearing a City shirt from a few years ago. Black away shirt. Never been to Manchester - although it is his sworn ambition to do so over the next couple of years. I asked him why he chose City and he said; "Because of the way they play the game". Plus his sons are big fans too.

We are gaining popularity over here in the land of bullshit and chewing gum pretty fast, I tells ya.

Indeed it is a beautiful city my friend and a fabulous beach 20 mins away from downtown. Although I would recommend spending some length of time there in the summer as its hot, bloody hot and bloody humid...

I totally agree with your observations. I too have lived in the States for many years (since 1990), living in both San Diego and Seattle. I used to see United shirts and caps regularly when my kids played in footy tournaments and I hated it. Americans always assumed that being from Manchester I was a rag, but I proudly set them straight on many occasions and educated them along the way. I can honestly say that I can’t remember the last time I saw anyone wearing rag attire, but have seen many of all ages wearing City shirts. Just north of San Diego, a big West Coast tournament known as the Surf Cup used to be sponsored by United, but now it’s City. Oh how times have changed. Our club is just brilliant which we all know.
Is 90% of California's water still being used to water the lush fairways of Torrey pines golf club?

Well now we are in the 2nd week of September all the spanish families have gone back with the kids back at escolar and we have the place back to ourselves. But the overriding thing is I’ve seen this summer more Spanish youngsters wearing gods own colours.

I was the only City fan living in Salem, Oregon, in 1981, till I went to a Timbers game and met two pot-heads who for some strange reason loved Manchester City. I often wonder if they are still alive. Somehow I doubt it.

Yup; been out to Tybee. Lovely. Last time I was in Savannah it was July. It was indeed bloody hot and humid, but I still loved the place.

I've just come back from Almeria, southern Spain. Walking around the local market and the inevitable snide football shirts, two things struck me as very noticeable.
1. The lack of rag and dipper shirts. Not that they weren't there, just not as prominent or in the same numbers as usual.
2. The number of City shirts was way more than you usually see, and very prominent. Haaland in particular amongst the Lewandoski's, Messis, Neymar etc.
