No pal,In that case I apologise I thought you were referring to the game itself.

The open training session I meantNo pal,
Living so far away from Blighty mate, I thought you’d jump at the chance to see the Blues, even if it’s just academy kids. The game in Columbus is just a couple of hours away for me (i.e. right next-door by American standards). Everyone keeps asking me if I’m going. They’re all astounded to hear me say that I’m 50:50. I’ve never been that arsed about pre-season games. I have been in the past to one at Red Bull Stadium in NJ, which was OK, because the NY Red Bulls took it very seriously, made a real game of it and actually beat us. I also went a few years ago to see us play Milan (forget which one) at the Pittsburgh Steelers stadium. It was like a kick about with some mates in the park and then got abandoned halfway through the second half due to a huge storm.
You'd think that...... but tickets for the game in Orlando are $111 in the City fans section (I believe they are $55 or $65 up in the gods)Living so far away from Blighty mate, I thought you’d jump at the chance to see the Blues, even if it’s just academy kids.
Saw our reserves play the dippers in NJ a few years back and found the friendly fan mixing in the parking lot tailgates and inside the stadium vomit inducing, a very weird experience all roundLiving so far away from Blighty mate, I thought you’d jump at the chance to see the Blues, even if it’s just academy kids.
Makes a change from dodging bricks.Saw our reserves play the dippers in NJ a few years back and found the friendly fan mixing in the parking lot tailgates and inside the stadium vomit inducing, a very weird experience all round
Fair point mate, but I’m a born and bred Manc, so saw plenty of the real City late 70s through to early 2000s before I moved. Still get to the odd game (though usually away) when I’m back over.Living so far away from Blighty mate, I thought you’d jump at the chance to see the Blues, even if it’s just academy kids.
Haha you can take I assume the Manc out of Manchester but you can't take Manchester out of the Manc.Saw our reserves play the dippers in NJ a few years back and found the friendly fan mixing in the parking lot tailgates and inside the stadium vomit inducing, a very weird experience all round
My son and I will be there!City and Celtic open practice the night before the match on July 22 at 5:30pm EDT at Wake Med Soccer Park:
Decent tailgating outside too (same venue as TST back in June). $20 each. I'll be there and the night after for the match at UNC.
I will be watching the City/AC Milan match in a bar across the street from Yankee stadium. $117 for a friendly? No thanksYou'd think that...... but tickets for the game in Orlando are $111 in the City fans section (I believe they are $55 or $65 up in the gods)
And it will be a lot of academy kids and certainly won't be the England / Spanish players and maybe not Ake either.
I live on & off in Michigan and even though i hate the thought of watching a game in that stadium (go blue!), i finally bit the bullet last week and got decent seats at a decent price off stubhub. So we'll be there cheering on the real Blues! The game in Columbus is just a couple of hours away for me (i.e. right next-door by American standards). Everyone keeps asking me if I’m going. From our first team squad. I would say Eddie Ortega Lewis Bobb Haaland GrealishAny ideas what players will be making this trip?
So Jack isn't even one of his real names? From our first team squad. I would say Eddie Ortega Lewis Bobb Haaland Grealish
That sounds pretty much it.This read oddly to me. This means these two will join the group later into the US tour? And no others who played in the Copa or Euros will join the US tour at all? Correct?
