I thought swp was over 21 mill and robinho was about 18. Pretty sure swp was the highest anyway
Yeah didnt wardle confirm it was £21m? Kept us going as well at the time! Still think Warsaw never got the praise he deserved at times, am sure he paid the players wages a few times as well didn't he?

Definitely didn't get the credit he deserved and yes I think he did. Great bloke and always acted in the best interests of the club

Correct - were it not for Wardle (and Makin) we would be nowhere now. Rescued us after Lee's tenure went sour; loaned the club money during Frank's reign and ultimately lost loads of hid own cash - as in millions - whilst Frank made a fortune selling to S Mansour. Saw Wardle outside Wembley after cup final and thanked him; he said he was just glad he got to see it. First class bloke and genuine blue - wanted no personal acclaim and didn't even want his money back. We owe him a lot and he deserves pride of place in our history

What did the Polish ever do for MCFC? (Deyna aside)

I don't think we're in a position to criticise anyone's transfer spending save perhaps Liverpool's. We've wasted shit loads of money.

We've wasted money on RSC and that's it.

Can't really say Bridge was a waste of money. We were in desperate need of a left back at the time and he was half decent and available.

RSC however has contributed a big fat zilch. Glauber Berti possibly contributed more than him.
