Guys I am sure im going to get flamed for this but Im sorry I have to say it.

After watching the game between the rags and madrid I have to say I was asking myself how come we never play high intensity or high speed down the wings

we don't have one player who is capable of that, no speed or intensity.

Even last season in that famous qpr win, the intensity were coming from corners, we didn't have players running at people. Even Silva and more importantly Nasri - who I still think is a class player even if he hasn't reached the heights of Arsenal - just slows down the game. To be honest this season the only players ive seen trying to run at people would be Zabba and Aguero and sometimes Tevez

But other than that we are truly missing the wow factor, Im not one of the Mancini out folks but still the lack of intensity has to be down to him and not the players because the players cant have been letting him down all season?

I mean I wish we would play a bit more like Borussia Dortmund rather than try and copy Barcelona because as much as it pains me to say I dont think our midfield is on that level yet.

Thoughts?

leagues pretty much gone now.

i'd give sinclair a chance on the right and play aguero deeper to give us some pace.

if we get it right i know we can be the best in the league, sadly it's probably too late this season for the league but not for the FA cup!

Only speed the scum had last night was how quick they could get back in position to park there double decker bus

One thing I liked about Madrid is how high they press at the top of the pitch. If they win the ball they are on the attack straight away because they won it in the final third

im sorry mate, but the rags were excellent, tactically spot on, they had more clear cut chances than madrid.
I agree, they had far more chances and RVP should have buried them

to be honest if they continue in the champions league it might distract them from the league

But to be honest Mancini is a good manager but I dont think he believes in wingers or speed
he likes to play possession football and wear the opponents down. Teams have figured us out and not only do we need more players but we need a different style. Ever since Mancini game we lacked the intensity of a high calibre side. Not in all games but in most.

possession football is a great technique, there's nothing wrong with our play BUT...

it's our ONLY style of play and teams find it easy to park the bus and hit us with pace on the break.

we need multiple attacking techniques IMO and pace in midfield to catch the opposition counters.
