Watching this afternoons efforts in Norfolk, got me thinking have we ever had a better front two than Aguero and Tevez. No's the short answer.
I've been following City since the mid Fifties, and to be honest we've not had many genuine world class players.
George Weah was a world class player. But not by the time he turned up at Maine Road.
Same for Peter Schmeichel.
We've had plenty of really good players down the years. But not world class.

These would be mine.

Bert Trautmann
Colin Bell
Carlos Tevez
Sergio Aguero
David Silva (boarderline)

That's it !

Anybody else, anyone?

Honestly not looking for an aruguement. I respect your opinion, but how can you class Sergio Aguero as world class after one season with City?

(I'm over looking the inclusion of Tevez, that would result in an arguement and I would be a twat for starting it)

None of them would get in United's team, according to Ronnie Irani.

Yaya, no doubt
World Class. 1 UEFA Champions League, 1 FIFA Club World Cup, 2 La Liga Cups and more.
