I really like that kit! Probably mainly nostalgia it was my first city kit when I was a young un. Bought it in grown up size recently

I liked that one as well. My first away shirt. All my favourite City shirts, with a few exceptions were from 94-01. I'm glad they're bringing a collar back on the new one, which I quite like.

The last LE-COQ-SPORTIF kit we had was awful. We'd just been taken over, splashing the cash everywhere, and yey we had to wear that god waful kit every week.
I still blame that kit for why Robinho couldn't settle ;-).

Its amazing what a mess certain kit suppliers have managed to make out of the classic, beautiful black and red stripe. The LCS one was awful - with bits of luminous green string and stuff all over it. As for the "bra" version from 1994 - gawd help us. Love to see another 1969 round-neck simple style one. I think the one they had in 1981 was pretty good and the Anelka era (2002?) away was pretty good attempt too.

Actually - that 2002 one is pretty horrible - I am thinking of the one we wore at Blackburn in 1999 - although no doubt when that is posted it will look pretty grim too
