CL Final Venue | Stade de France named as new venue

I just booked for the budget ibis.
No idea what the area is like but it's a chain hotel so will be clean even if the room will be small.

If you were rich you could have a very nice week or 2 taking in the business end of Roland-Garos, the Monaco GP and the CL final in between some Cote d'Azur sunbathing and wine tasting.

I would avoid booking for the CL Final in St Petersburg and the Russian GP in Sochi, not to mention the VTB Kremlin Cup tennis event in Moscow.

At this stage of the season, 1 would have normally booked a mini-break in St Petersburg as I have done previously for finals in Milan, Kyiv, and Madrid. I didn’t think the final in Istanbul would happen nor did I think that St Petersburg would ever happen.

Went when we drew 2-2 under Pellegrini and I must admit I was pleasantly surprised how nice Paris was.
We stayed in Bastile area which was excellent.

That is the English bars area. You would go there for match of the day and slightly cheaper beer.

All I'll say is, if it were the rags 10 years ago talking this much about getting to Paris when they've not even officially made it to the quarter finals yet they'd be an awful lot of ridiculing going on. Maybe wait until we're not just one of 16 possible finalists before you all start going on as if we've made it to the final again.

Saint Denis is not great, rough and nothing really there apart from the ground. But Paris is so easy to travel around the metro works really well getting to the ground. I’ve been there for several rugby games but guess will be different for this.

Not a big surprise with four English teams still involved. More than enough people willing to take a chance on booking the cheapest fares as soon as the news came through knowing it’s not going to bankrupt them if they don’t end up using them.
The algorithms that airlines use would send prices sky high (excuse the bad pun) as soon as that starting happening.
