CL Last 16 (Dinamo Kiev) (NO City away fans) (24 feb and 15 mar)

Rags play the Danes Feb 18 and 25. Next stage EL last 16 for them could be March 10 and 17.
Right?
I think you may be right. The BBC website has the dates of the return leg for the as thu 17 March. Duff info I think - hopefully a 1000 Irish rags have booked hotels for the wrong date :-)

At least one positive is we will have the FULL Etihad for the 2nd leg

We will but I'm not sure that they'll open all of it. I'm guessing the attendance will be about 45,000 for this one. A lot will depend upon the first leg result but they're not the traditional "big name" that we usually draw.

Because some people like to travel around Europe watching City, and are annoyed that the racism of other fans is preventing us from doing so this time. Surely that's not difficult to understand?

Still, at least we can save money for the quarter finals if we progress.

No, that money will go toward the final, an extra couple of days 'holiday'. We WILL progress and WILL make the final. Eccles Blue has spoken so the team had better take note!!

It's hard to tell because we've not played a CL knock out game against anyone other than Barca. I think we'll sell out as long as tickets are priced correctly.

The best thing about that draw was the fact there's going to be two teams from Gent, Wolfsburg, Benfica and Zenit in the quarter finals. leaving a good chance to draw one of those teams and potentially have on paper at least, a very easy route through to the semi finals.

Just thought I'd mention that if the last 20 minutes had gone the other way in both games, the rags would be playing Gent for a place in the QF's and we'd be playing Bayern again. But instead, we are playing Kiev, while they are breaking out the atlas to try and figure out where their Europa League opponents are from. Delicious.

Exactly. IF we get through, there's a 2/7 chance, or nearly 30%, of getting a favourable quarter final draw! Got to be happy with that!
