There is a huge American sports bar called stars and bars on the marina , tv screens everywhere and pints and burgers. Was thre last year I expect that will be a good spot to watch if no ticket. Eddie Jordan was playing pool in it last year when we were there !!!!

I don't remember feeling violated but it is Monte Carlo so everything is relative. It has a website so prices may be on there. It was big inside and out so probably a good atmosphere on match day.

Anyone got an idea as to when City will announce the ticketing criteria (post or collection farce etc), or will we be asking the same question in mid February?
I wouldn't expect them to go on sale for at least a month, but they could easily communicate their intentions, if only to stop us contacting them individually with the same query.

When have you ever known the ticket office to be proactively helpful? ;)

I'd be amazed if this wasn't a collect in destination game given the limited number of tickets. I'm expecting it to sell out above 17,500, but thats just my guess. I'd imagine it will start at 19,000 and go down in 500 blocks, but again I'm just guessing. I used to think I had a reasonable idea of how many were ahead of me but its hard to judge these days

Like you say, we wont hear anything for at least a month. Given the game is 3 months off, it will probably be more like 2 and a half months before the criteria gets announced!

Last train back to Nice might be tricky if there's extra time or pens.

A Spurs fan who went to their group match said they put an unadvertised train on back to Nice after the match.
He also said there was an alcohol ban in Monaco on day of match.

They will probably contact the players, staff & corporates directly.
