Why the fuck are we not playing on Wednesday night with Sunday games on either side?
So the question is who decides to choose our game on a Thursday? Must be someone who want to give Arsenal a massive advantage! Oh we have to play Thursday because some fcuker hate us love Arsenal
Certain teams must play on a Thursday in the Champions League because of the new format's "exclusive matchweeks". In these weeks, the Champions League is the only UEFA competition being played, which allows fixtures to be spread across Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to give each competition its own focus and prevent fixture congestion

City's website is wrong, there is no Wednesday 18th September. It's the Thursday, as they posted on their social media graphic.

Advantage Arsenal then! Absolutely stinks.
Gooner here - that's an absolute fucking disgrace from UEFA tbh. I'd understand if you were home to Burnley but Arsenal away is a season-critical match and that's just totally out of order.
