Champions League returns ... yup, the same one we were supposed to be banned from ... this year at the very least ... as the two years ban was designed that even if appeal was successful it’d at least sit us out for one year ... but here we are ... and starting at home.

Every mid-week is a Champions League game now and every weekend a Premier League game all the way till mid-November when yet another (stupid) international break comes along ...

Hopefully Laporte is back for this one ... Mendy and Jesus being out doesn’t help with this game every three days schedule ... add KdB to this missing list and we are really stretched thin with two big games every week.

Expect Fernandinho and Gundogan to start this one and possibly Torres as well purely for the rotation purposes ...

C’mon City ... slowly but surely our season is starting just about now ...

And don't forget the kids are on Citytv this afternoon, and the gals are darn at Huntley and Palmer's Playing Fields. Both 2pm kick offs I think.
