I think this is policy. No real break, no pre-season, some freak injuries in prem already. They’re obviously worried about player conditioning and its a zero risk approach.

But we have had crazy number of injuries since Pellegrini was appointed in 2013.

Never seen a problem in his aerial ability. Football is played on the ground. He's a smarter defender than John Stones. That's fact. Still don't really care, I expect both Stones and Garcia to be gone by next summer.

It's not a subjective matter, Garcia's aerial percentage is literally the worst in the league. Football is not only played on the ground. Why is he smarter than Stones? It seems with Garcia people just throw out generic compliments but none of it is actually based on anything numerical.

I agree. It has been poor since Liverpool poached our top guy. I don’t know who we replaced him with, but he’s shit.

Agree, maybe because our approach to risk was a little more relaxed? Playing through niggles. Don’t know mate, just guessing.
