CL QF Draw - City V Spurs ===== SF V Ajax (If we get there)

Away pubs.

The Beehive (very good) and the Antwerp Arms (also good) allow away fans.

I believe the Elmhurst (never been in there) does as well but it was closed for a while so best to ring and see if it still open (I think it is).

Otherwise the Irish centre at WHL station has always been away friendly but it is a bit like a school gym.

Not really. A one off game maybe a chance. Two legs unlikely. Try and nick a narrow win at ours and park the bus at yours.

A small dose of noro at yours wouldn't go amiss! You can have the treble, leave the CL for us?

I think he meant are you confident it will pass the safety stuff. As I understand it Uefa have said that as long as you have played a league game there this one can go ahead. So as long as there is no building work etc you should pass your safety cert.

Ha .I misunderstood. I think the tests will pass ok. Pretty sure that we wouldn't even have them if THFC even thought there was half a chance of them failing.

Fingers crossed anyway.

I remember when our new ground was to open, all they did was ask everyone to turn up and wander round and then sit in a seat at a given time. Seemed pointless but that was it ! May be in the back ground without fans they test stuff like fire alarms, I just wish they would get on with it as City haven't yet put any ticket details up. I hope they are not waiting until after the safety test !

The second test isn't until 30th Jan....would only give you 10 days to sell and distribute tickets....

Liverpool Street is convenient for the overground which is 20-25 mins on the train but a hotel will set you back a minimum of £150 a night.

An Airbnb at Old Street which is 2 tube stops from Kings Cross where you can get the Victoria Line to Seven sisters is around £45.

Or, depending on how old you are you could ring the No8 Hostel which is right next to the ground and check prices which are usually dirt cheap. Decent pub on match days actually.

I think there is an Easyhotel in Old Street as well

Barcelona was the test game limited to a max of 35k

Yes, before that though we had a test event. It was a lovely sunny day, we got to sit in our seats for 30 minutes and then on the signal we all had to get up and leave in an orderly fashion.

I suppose they were trying to simulate what happens at the final whistle of a game. What they failed to realize was that when the final whistle goes 40% of our fans have already left :-)
