As there is no seeding in the Qualifiers, here is who we could play if we win tonight and on Sunday;

Valencia
Werder Bremen
Sampdoria
Olympic Lyon

As there is no seeding in the Qualifiers, here is who we could play if we win tonight and on Sunday;

There is seeding - but by co-efficient rather than country.

Valencia aren't a possibility as they're 3rd in Spain. Sevilla or Mallorca are the likely candidates. Sampdoria have a lower co-efficient than either City or Tottenham so they aren't very likely to be drawn together.

Opponents are likely to be either Sampdoria, Sevilla/Mallorca, Werder Bremen, Lyon, or Olympiakos.

It's difficult to make these kind of assumptions at this point.

5 of these 10 go into the pot:

Zenit St. Petersburg
Ajax
Celtic
Runners-up in Ukraine (probably Kiev)
Runners-up in Portugal (probably Sporting Braga)
Runners-up in Turkey (Fenerbahce or Bursaspor)
Runners-up in Belgium (Bruge I think)
Runners-up in Switzerland (Basel)
Runners-up in Romania (5 clubs competing for this spot)
Playoff winners in Greece (one of Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK, Aris)

Plus these 4 (plus us or Spurs)

4th place in Spain (Mallorca or Sevilla) - Mallorca won't be seeded above us
4th in Serie A (Palermo or Sampdoria) - neither would be seeded above us
3rd in France (Lille or Lyon) - likely to be seeded
3rd in Germany (Bremen or Leverkusen)

So to me it's more dependent on who qualifies from that initial 10.

@ Project should read "4th in serie A" not 3rd, I know its only a typo but others might not so might avoid some confusion later in the thread if you change it
