I think the opposite. At this stage of the season it's all about momentum. The finish line is in sight. Don't let up one single inch.
 
We've put 8 goals past the red Dippers in 2 games this season, including one game where we were crap. I think we can win both legs.
 
For those crapping themselves over the run of games and going to Anfield i say CALM DOWN in the midst of the 80s and 90s did we not dream of matches and crucial ties involving the team we all live for I am just enjoying the fact that amongst the elite little old City are one of the favourites Noisy neighbours indeed?

I agree, I don't mean putting the second string out, I'm talking more about players like Kompany who we need to be careful with.

If we are going to win his thing then we need to beat whoever is put in front of us, given that the derby s sandwiched between these games then the fact it is only 40 miles up the road is an added bonus. We caused our own problems at their place and still nearly pulled it back for a draw, the momentum we could gain by potentially beating these over two legs as well as the rags and winning the title should not be under estimated.

Spot on lads...we caused our own downfall in that game. Time to show them once and for all at Klanfield whose boss : )
 
When we lost at Anfield Liverpool had 9 days from their previous match with Everton in the FA cup on a Friday night. I believe they went abroad for some warm weather training before our game. In between this we had two games (Burnley and Bristol City).

We struggled in the 2nd half I feel because our energy levels dropped off.

This time they will have Watford this Saturday with no game for us. Then Palace away the same day we go to Everton. I see no reason why we can't match their intensity this time round.
 
There is no way players will be rested against United if the title's there to be won on the day. I wouldn't expect it at all.
 
what a week that will be..

smash the scousers away, smash the scum at home, win the league, smash the scousers again at home...

Win them all then, we'll have had plenty of rest, we'll be champions, into the semi final of the CL, with a guard of honour at wembley for the PL.
 
One ting is for certain , i dont want Sterling or Zinchenko anywhere near this game , the crowd get to Sterling and Zinchenko gives the ball away too much , would play Bernardo and Delph if fit all day long.
